They are the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and a member of the International League. Tickets are relatively inexpensive with prices around $15. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, look no further. Tonight from 7PM to midnight, Norfolk’s Scope Arena is hosting the Pride Block Party. The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is hosting it’s 61st Boardwalk Art Show & Festival from 6/16-6/19 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
“The show is nationally recognized from small beginnings in 1952 that to date attracts over 700 applications every year from artists around the country representing 13 fine art and contemporary craft mediums. More than 250 artists and 250,000 tourists and locals attend the show that spans nearly 15 blocks along the Atlantic Ocean at the Virginia Beach oceanfront from 20th Street to 35th Street.”
The Boardwalk Art Show & Festival will have amazing art, great food, and live entertainment. Proceeds from this event will support MOCA’s efforts to provide insightful art exhibitions and children’s art education program.

Virginia Beach is hosting the 23rd annual North American Sand Soccer Championships June 10-12. If you’re unfamiliar with how the championships then we have news for you. It’s extremely competitive and fun! Sand soccer is played on 25-40 yard grids with 5v5 games. There are over 80 brackets and the difficulties range from beginner to expert. There are no set uniforms, so wear anything that is uncomfortable and compete. Norfolk is hosting it’s 39th annual Harborfest (longest-running maritime festival in th nation) presented by AT&T. Norfolk’s Harborfest will be held from June 9-12 at Town Point Park, Downtown Norfolk Waterfront, VA.
